I raced at Hoghill on Saturday. It's a small circuit, with unlike most circuit has a hill every lap, and with 30 laps it definitely makes for more interesting racing! Didn't really know what to expect as I've been doing a lot of shorter track work. But everything went smoothly and I was able to bridge a 1.30 min gap to the leaders. The effort of getting across took its toll and I finished 5th last of the break. We nearly lapped the field though!
Yesterday, was another decent day. I had planned to ride to Mr.Turner's and then ride with him and ride home. That's pretty much what happened and it ended up being a 5 hour ride. Endured some wind and rain along the way which made it a bit colder and harder.
Apart from that there hasn't been much excitement!
New bike feels good but definitely needs a clean after the race yesterday!
Rollers and a 'constant fudermentals' workout to do today. Taking it easy before the next few days.
Adios
