Another tough day today!
Was allowed to lie in, as the track session wasn't until 12. Even with all the sleep, I was still feeling tired, and found the session hard.
Started off with a 20 minute motorbike warm up. Using our small gears (50x16) to work on cadence. After a couple of 100m jumps and a standing start it was time for 2 standing 2k's on 50x14! The gear felt huge to me and it was a real struggle to turn for the full distance. With my legs wrecked and lungs destroyed it was time for lunch.
Rest of the afternoon was filled with 1 minute sprints on the rollers and 40 minutes of core and light weight work.
Training definately making the body work, just hope it makes me quick for next week in Polski!!
