It was a 4 hour spin. Lots of wind and no sun made the ride harder than normal! I had Martyn giving me a kicking in the wind, and the lack on sun meant trying to keep warm on the descents!
Had a close call descending down one of the later climbs in the day, where a car was overtaking another group of cyclists coming towards us. Not a good idea to overtake on solid white lines, on a tight ride, on a hairpin that you can't see around? Looking we were going down slower than we went up otherwise it could've been nasty!
Got a tough week up until Sunday so will keep plugging away with the stretching, foam rollering and rego'ing!
